As a Chinese – English speaker with over 40 years of experience in the healthcare field, hospital, clinic, public health, and geriatric and dementia care,Wang holds an degree,asurgeon in China. Also, has a MA degree in health education from China, and an MSG degree in Gerontology from U.S.A. For an advanced high education, Wang have studied in a PhD program ofAging Study at UCLA, and a Doctoral program of Doctoral of Health Administration (DHA) at School of Advanced Studies in University of Phoenix.

In decadespractices of elderly care field, as a geriatric care professional, Wang has been a certified Administrator of California Residential Care for Elderly; a certified geriatric care professional for multiple senior care services in the United States; a rewarded professional leader by multiple senior care servicesin the United States, and a national certified Dementia Care Practitioner and Trainer. Also, shehas been known as a respected and excellentdirector for Adult Day Health Care Centers licensed by the California Department of Health Services and certified by the Department of Aging, and Community Senior Center supported by Los Angeles County, which she iscarrying immense responsibilities for the lives of many senior in numerous communities. In addition Wangholds various professional certificates in American elderly long-term care programs. Asa former Intern of AARP Andrus Foundation at the National Council on the Aging, she has been an excellent leader in directing Adult Day Health Care Centers and Community-based Multiple Senior Service Center and has active experience with The California Endowment, Community Health Investment Program Grant addressing multicultural, interfaith, social services, psych counseling services, serving over 3000 disabled, senior or dependent adults in the local community.

As aseasoned, multifaceted, and detail-oriented professional leader with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in overseeing various community-based senior care and psychosocial services/projects, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care by handling increasing level of care challenges and government regulations, Wang has been managing and accomplishing diverse and complex operations.  With a proven track record in providing strategic growth and improving performance and profitability of business; a strong professional background and broad knowledge of clinical and elderly psychosocial services; an excellent skills in leading, organizational, planning, fiscal management, grants proposal writing, and the campaign of fund-raising; Wang has adopteda conceptualizing and implementing innovative programs and strategies within community-based senior care to optimize operational efficiency while significantly achieving goals.

Among other contributions, Wang was awarded Partnership by the United States Census 2000, UN recognition for outstanding support of the Human Rights Day for All Ages and Year of Older Persons.

International Geriatric Long-Term Care Consultant

In addition to working in the American Long-term care, since 1997 Wang has provided a professional consulting service in term of gerontological and geriatric care for both of China’s government and aging business related to improve China’s long-term care, either for China’s government from top to local or for the investors and business owner who are interested in the development and improvement of China’s elderly care.In 1998,  Wang was recommended by the China’s former Minister of Civil Affairs - Cui Naifu (崔乃夫) to Chinese Committee on Aging as an informal advisor and consultant to improve the China’s elderly care. Wang has attended many conferences related to China’s elderly care since then, whatever in senior housing or in the research and services. In order to continually provide such a service. In 2002 Wang established the American Longevity HealthCare, Inc. on an international basis, asagerontological and geriatric consulting company, to provide the services of geriatric long-term care development for Chinese seniors in both mainland China and U.S.A., and help elderly care providers to improve and update geriatric long-term care in the elderly care market. Since then about more than 200 elderly care programs in China having been benefited fromAmerican Longevity HealthCare’s excellent professional services.
